2008 Viognier Columbia Valley
91 points Wine Enthusiast Oct. 2010
An interesting debut from this new producer. The blend includes 20% Roussanne, co-fermented in neutral French oak. It was aged sur lie and given monthly battonage, and no malolactic fermentation. The wine is big, with juicy tropical fruit/bubblegum flavors, skin phenolics, great texture and baking spice highlights. Impressive. - Paul Gregutt

2007 L'Entente
88 points Wine Enthusiast Sept. 2010
A Rhône blend that’s bright and fruity, with flavors of mixed berries and a streak of bark and pepper. Drinks young, suggesting that further bottle age or decanting is a good idea. - Paul Gregutt

2007 Mystique Red
88 Points Wine Enthusiast Sept. 2010
A five-grape Bordeaux blend, substantial and pretty. Sweet, slightly candied cherry and plum fruit opens the wine, which has some interesting layering, bringing in cassis, hints of herb and edgy tannins. - Paul Gregutt
88 Points Wine Advocate Aug. 2010
Ott & Murphy’s 2007 Mystique Red is a multi-regional blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Malbec, 18% Merlot, with the balance Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot aged for 19 months in 20% new French oak before bottling without fining or filtration. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it delivers a quality nose of cedar, baking spices, violets, herbal notes, black currant, and black cherry. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it displays ample ripe, spicy fruit, very good depth and concentration, and moderate length. It can be enjoyed now but has enough structure to evolve for another 2-3 years. - Jay Miller
